Step 2: Customize the Taskbar

  1. Right-click on the Taskbar and select Taskbar Settings.
  2. Change Search to Search Icon and Label.
  3. Set Taskbar Alignment to Left.
  4. Exit Taskbar Settings.

Step 3: Customize the Desktop
  1. Create a Restore Point before modifying the Windows 11 appearance.
  2. Install and run Winhawk, then select Browse For Mods.
  3. Search for and install the following three mods:
    • Windows 11 Start Menu Styler

Step 4: Enable Mica Effect

  1. Open the MYD 1 folder that you extracted.
  2. Copy the Release_x64 folder.
  3. Go to Local Disk C: and paste the folder there.
  4. Open the Release_x64 folder, then go to the Release folder.
  5. Right-click on the register file, select Run as administrator, and click Yes.
